Why does the app not sync/remember auto download settings after I change the phone or reinstall the app?
We are sorry that if you change phones or reinstall the app, you need to set up your auto download preference again.
The reason why we do so is because of storage concern. If you choose to keep all unplayed episodes on a phone with plenty of space, that's fine. However, if you replace it with a phone with smaller space, it might overwhelm your phone and leave no room for other apps as soon as you download Castbox. That's a terrible experience, so we try to avoid that.
